Animal abuse has been a persistent issue in modern society. We hear in the news about individual animals being malnourished, beaten, or otherwise mistreated, but we cannot see the overall picture. Cats and pets have been regarded as companions. Tragically, they have also endured abuse and abandonment for a very long time. Every day stories of animal abuse make headlines all across the world, but the average population pays little attention to this problem and ignores it. The reason that these actions take place is that some people believe that animals are not sentient creatures who should be treated with respect, empathy, and love. Some individuals utilize this for entertainment purposes and when they are annoyed with their pets. Their temper was often out of control that leads sometimes in abuse. Cat Animal Cruelty Despite the fact that it is illegal to abuse animals, not much has been done to ensure that individuals who are accused of doing so are held accountable. Daily acts of animal cruelty show how low humanity has fallen on the immoral spectrum. It is vital to keep in mind that without animals, humans would perish. The purpose and life of every creature on Earth are unique. Without pets or animals, our ecosystem would be out of balance, which would cause problems farther down the chain.
The different types of animal abuse must first be defined and understood. Below, this will be made clear. What is animal cruelty and what are its main types? The most common and well-known form of animal abuse is physical violence, which is also its main manifestation. The main causes of these animal abuses include a number of state actions, which are the outcomes of false traditions that have been propagated throughout human history. The major lack of knowledge regarding animal cruelty that occurs globally is one of the factors that might be interpreted as a lack of awareness. Unfortunately, we live in a society where there is a lot of violence and many individuals lack morality, humanity, or even common sense, so there are those who do this just because they feel like it. In order to prevent cruelty to animals from becoming the norm, it is critical to teach the next generation about animal abuse. When there is inadequate preparedness at the moment you acquire an animal, it might lead to abandonment or inadequate care, which are further causes and effects of animal abuse.
The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated.

The majority of individuals simply adore their pets. Cats are another domesticated animal that people love, along with dogs. Study reveals that cat owners are less likely to die of heart attacks than non-owners, and research has proven that cats may be highly healing for us. There are usually cats moving around, which is apparent in each house and on the streets. People’s relationships with their cats are frequently the closest and most fulfilling ones in their lives. Due to all of their fur and fluff, cats are natural predators. While being domesticated, they still possess a hunter instinct and will keep mice out of our homes. Cat owners performed much better on IQ tests than dog owners did in a study at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin, of self-described dog lovers against cat lovers.
Unfortunately, cats experience neglect, abandonment, and abuse since not everyone is kind to them. Typically, the owner is not aware that they are vulnerable or in financial difficulty. The risk of mistreatment by someone other than their owners exists for cats that live or spend unattended time outdoors. Whether the cat is considered a nuisance or because the catcher is mentally unstable, they may be caught by another individual and abused.
Black Cats are widely perceived to be more likely than other cats to be abused. According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), this is inaccurate. Yet, compared to other cats, black cats do have a harder time being adopted from shelters. This is most likely because black cats have historically been associated with bad luck. Other species of cats also experience this situation. They are abused because people do and unable to fully defend themselves and cannot respond. Innocent creatures who have never done anything wrong are mistreated as time goes on, and some of them are disregarded for a very long time until they pass away.
Nevertheless, the truth is that cats’ character for being brave and tough hides a number of painful and abusive incidents that occurred to them over an extended period of time while they were concealed from view and treated as waste. Thereby, we should put an end to this animal cruelty, not just for cats but also for other animals who have suffered because of these situations. Be the person who fights for the welfare and rights of animals to create the best home for them, become the sound, heart for animals’ empathy, and last but not least, always be a defender of abused animals to create a space for them for new lives and hopes for these living beings because they deserve to enjoy the same liberties and opportunities to live as a human being who creates and helps this universe in all facets of life.
